He initially found work as a car wash attendant in Athi River but later found himself homeless and jobless due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Undeterred, he continued to pursue his passion for music and eventually heard about PLAN8 9 Entertainment Label through acquaintances at Kongowea Market in Mombasa. After a month of searching, Jafary found the studio and was given the opportunity to showcase his talent.
