Former street boy and freelance writer Peter Aowa is set to publish his autobiography.
Mr. Aowa who is a finalist communication student at St. Paul’s University took to his official Twitter account and shared information on the progress of the project.
The book according to information shared with this publisher by the author – Peter Aowa, is a dedication to his widowed mother and an insight into his life living as a street boy to the present day.
Among those featured in the book include freelance journalist Paul Ombati, former nominated senator Isaac Mwaura, model Victoria Wambui, American Televangelist and filmmaker Bishop T.D Jakes, Billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson, Daniel Okendo, US comedian Kevin Hart, Vincent Norman, Alfred Onyango, Charles Obunde, blogger Simiyu Elvis, Morgan Oliech, former Burkina Faso president Thomas Sankara and St. Paul’s University.
The digital marketer made headlines in late 2019 after his story was run in different media stations in Kenya including Switch Tv, KTN, and Citizen Digital/ Radio among others.
Peter is a self rehab street boy who previously worked as a night guard to raise his University fees and look after his younger siblings and his mother.
Titled the last tears from my mother, the 10-chapter book he says is not just a literature work but a motivation to the current generation on being consistent and objective in the face of adversity.
He hinted that he’s working with the Kenyan Pen Publishers to have the book published any time soon.
