Fast-rising Kenyan gospel minister Lydia Maina is back with a new single titled Asante and is available on all streaming platforms.
The audio was produced by the renowned Bwenieve studios and the video was directed by Steve Mugo.
Speaking about the single, Lydia says “I wrote this song as a Thanksgiving song to Christ for loving me and dying for our sins.”
The Imani and Usukani singer’s latest single was inspired by Galatians 3:13-14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
The Eldoret-born and raised gospel minister is currently in the studio with a major Pan-African collaboration with a renowned gospel minister and will be out soon.
