Friday Wolf is a rising Kenyan singer who recently dropped a hit single “Energy” featuring Masauti and has been taking the country’s music scene by storm. The young artist recently opened up about his experience collaborating with Masauti and how it has helped her gain recognition in the industry.
As she continues to build her career, Friday Wolf remains focused on creating music that is both entertaining and meaningful. She hopes to inspire other young Kenyans to pursue their passions and follow their dreams, just as she has done with her music.
I landed an exclusive interview with the young artist, and she revealed that she had always admired Masauti’s music and was thrilled to get the opportunity to work with him. She explained that the collaboration came about through mutual connections in the music industry and that they immediately hit it off in the studio.
Q: Kindly introduce yourself, who is Friday Wolf?
A: Friday wolf is an upcoming artist who’s really dedicated and ambitious to do good music in Africa and someday empower youths like me who really feel they have a calling in music… I’m not just doing this for fame and money but empowerment is also a drive for me.
Q: Give us a background of your music career journey?
A: Honestly UpTo this point it hasn’t been easy…we all know good things take alot of time energy and requires self-drive,,, I started music when I was very young…used to sing with my dad…though my first record I did it in highschool when I felt I really had the urge to come out as a young artist. All in all I can say God has been faithful too and UpTo.this point it’s been Him

A: Afropo/ rnb
Q: Can you tell us about your experience working with Masauti on your latest single “Energy”?
A: uuhmm…working with Masauti I can say has been one of my best experience in the music industry and if it were my wish I’d love to work with him over and over again😊
Q: How has the response been to “Energy” since its release a month ago?
A: I can say the response has been encouraging… people have shown support and I’m glad that’s a bonus for me I can say and the comments I’m getting are also encouraging me to keep pushing
Q: What inspired you to pursue a career in music, and who are your biggest musical influences?
A: Uuhmm.. for me my inspiration towards pursuing a career in music is that my love for music is just something that is inborn..I can’t say that there’s something that pushed me towards it I just that I’m naturally a lover of music …music is a therapy for me.

A: yeah lots of collaborations
Q: Can you walk us through your creative process when it comes to writing and producing music?
A: I have no formula or routine for writing my music but I can say emotions, experience and interests drives me in writing my music
Q: How do you see your music evolving over the next few years, and what can fans expect from your future releases?
A: being that I’ve dedicated myself to this I’m so certain over the next few years with God’s grace my music will be a hit. My fans should expect good music from me and when I say good I mean really good.
Q: What advice do you have for aspiring musicians who are just starting out in the industry?
A: My advice to them is that they should put God first, stay focused and Never tire

A: uuhhmm…hiyo mtajua soon hahaha.
Q: What sets your music apart from others in the industry, and what do you hope listeners take away from your songs?
A: I can say every musicians music is unique in their own way so I can’t specifically say my music outways theirs…though what I can say is my music is unique in it’s own based on the fact that it’s something that’s inborn.
And I hope my Listeners understand the messages from my songs and feel the good vibe in it
