Blem Entertainment is hosting the first 2022 edition of the alternative music concert series this year – Alte Swing. This edition is taking place on Friday 27th May 2022 at the MUZE Club in Westlands from 9:00 PM till late.
Alte Swing is a unique millennial alternative music concert series organized by Blem Entertainment that will be taking place every 3 months at Nairobi’s most sought-after venues.
Alte Swing’s impressive line-up is packed with Kenya’s finest alternative and experimental music DJs and producers who include Best east Africa experimental DJ – Basthma the phenomenal vibe curator Shishi, AFRIMA Nominee DJ Mura, and Soulection’s very own KNVL.
Speaking on the event Blem Entertainment Manager George Chege couldn’t hide excitement “We are super excited to finally host our first edition of Alte Swing Concert this year. Most importantly we are really happy to collaborate with MUZE club which is well known for its influence and contribution to the alternative dance scene. We have been working on this concept since the beginning of this year and it’s safe to that Alte Swing will focus on delivering the best and most memorable audio-visual experiences for our patrons, something that has been missing in the Kenyan dance scene.”
The event aims to serve patrons nothing but the ultimate experimental festival experience. Alte Swing will be the first of its kind to give both a curator audio and visual experience. The show will have a huge captivating laser show with fog remittance to immerse the audience fully into the delightful world of alternative music.

DJ Mura
DJ Mura is one of Kenya’s outstanding musical exports. The multi-genre DJ and Producer has worked with several international DJs and artists from Africa, the U.K, and the Caribbean. His talents also span the producing /remixing side of music having worked on his own and with many other artists in Kenya and abroad. So far, The AFRIMA nominee has rocked crowds on coveted stages such as Bayimba Festival, Ongala Festival, Kilifi New, DJ Color Festival, Africa Nouveau, KAN Festival, and Kaleidoscope festival just to mention a few.
