The media landscape is evolving day by day. Legacy media has adopted the new media and its content has taken a whole new direction.

Venus TV, a station under Hamilton Media Group, has given its viewers (over 9 million viewers across the country) the opportunity to navigate through the morphs of mainstream media content.

“The unique part about Venus TV is that news will be revolving. Viewers won’t wait until a specific time to have a glimpse of what happened during the day. Instead, they’ll grasp each and every bit of the updates as they happen. And when it’s time to binge and relax, there’ll be movies, documentaries, and talk shows to keep you entertained. This is the place to fulfill every viewer’s desire,” city lawyer and scholar Dr. Brian Mutie, the C.E.O Venus TV asserted.

With a dire mission to create, produce and distribute outstanding content to its viewers, Venus TV has captured the waves and gripped onto the path of becoming one of Kenya’s biggest TV stations.

Normally, you would anticipate news on tv at 1 pm, 4 pm, 7 pm, and 9 pm. However, this fast-growing Kenyan channel has revolving news. The news is broadcasted immediately as they occur thus enabling the viewers to keep up to date with what’s new in the Country and beyond.

Online media such as websites, social media, and tabloids have always been distributing timely news as they happen. This is not common with tv stations or radio. That is among the gaps that Venus tv is bridging with its target audience.

The TV station, broadcasting 24 hours around the clock, has diverse and versatile content ranging from the latest movies, animations, cartoons, documentaries, music shows, political shows, and engaging talk shows.

Viewers in Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kiambu, Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Nyahururu, Nyandarua, Kajiado, Machakos, Meru, Embu, Eldoret, Kitale, Kilifi, Kwale, Mazeras and Kisumu can view, engage and interact with the station on Signet and also GOtv.

Venus TV is also participating in this year’s “KUZA AWARDS 2022”. Viewers may show their love for the station by sending the word “KUZA” to 15601 and select Venus TV as your favourite Free To Air (FTA) tv. The voting process is scheduled to end on 8th May.

There has been positive reception on social media regarding the station’s content which is geared to inform, engage, entertain and inspire. Venus TV roundly endeavors to fill the gap between candid communication to the Kenyan audience, appreciation for local talent, and the creation of job opportunities.

Looking at the future of media, Venus TV envisions producing timely, outstanding, and unique content that resonates with the new trends and viewers’ desires. It is with no doubt that the tv station is set to promote high standards for mainstream media content.
