London-born artist Sofia Gillani released the visuals of the much-awaited song “Water Run Dry” on March 25th, 2022. The single was available on pre-order via iTunes on the 26th of February 2022.
The song ‘Water Run Dry’ is about persevering and trying to come to a consensus even when it feels like the odds are against you like the ‘water has run dry’. In 2022, it’s important to have this mindset with the struggles we’ve been through. Water Run Dry’ is a bold song encouraging motivation, lifting people higher when they feel like they are stuck, and helping them realize that ‘love’ and ‘hope’ and ‘pain’ are emotions we will inevitably feel, but even when it gets tough and the problems multiply, can we, as humanity, not let the ‘water run dry’.
Sofia Gillani is a singer/songwriter born and raised in London. She began her musical career at the age of 9 years old starring as a lead in the musical ‘Evita’, which was a commercial success, running for four nights at the Oliver Awards.
