Tabbie aka ‘tabbief0rlife’ is a singer/songwriter/rapper with mad flow. She made her debut in the music industry 11 months ago with ‘Tabbie Trap Freestyle‘ and later own released her EP ‘For Life’. Tabbief0rlife is the wave that’s rising to the top of the female emcees and she’s has a lot of surprises for us this 2022.
How and when did you make your debut in the music industry?
About 11 months ago when I dropped my first freestyle “Tabbie trap freestyle”.
Kindly share the part of your story that you feel the public should know about Tabbie?
I don’t feel like I have a typical artist story. All I could say is Tabbie is misunderstood and not given enough credit for the things she does especially for her age. I don’t blame anybody though, I blame society and that’s why I find it easy to pour out my emotions through music hoping that we can learn a few things about the world we live in.
Is music what you always wanted to do while growing up?
I knew I could sing at a very young age thanks to my mom, but I never thought I could be making my own music at 18.
How would you describe your music?
I would say my music is unique, authentic, beautiful, raw, and about the vibes.
What sets your music apart? What is unique about it?
My music is from the heart so it’s honest and relatable. I mostly write from my personal experiences meaning you wouldn’t find the uniqueness of it out there.
What does your music say about you?
My music says that I am a teenager who has been through a lot and says that I can still be as vulnerable and emotional as any other person, but at the same time be strong and realize that you can always get past things.it says that it’s ok to go through stuff and feel. Things always get better.
What is your creative process like?
Most of the time I’d just listen to a beat and have a melody play at the back of my head and I build around that. Sometimes it takes longer because I like to make sure that I connect with the beat so then what I talk about is from within, but sometimes I could listen to the beat and I could write on the spot. Depends on the vibe.
Let’s talk about your E.P ‘For Life’ which you released last year December? What would you say inspired the album?
I think pain is one of the inspirations, I went through a lot and I decided to express my feelings through music and before I knew it I had “For Life”.
Do you think it solidified you as an artist in this music industry?
Solidify? No, but it did introduce me into the industry.
Who else was involved in recording or producing the E.P?
Big shout out to prod Jack, TBreyzi, Kxffy, Prod by august, they made this happen.
Who would you like to collaborate with in your upcoming projects?
If I named a list we could go on for a while.
Speaking of collaboration, you did a cypher last month, how was it with working with those amazing artists and deejays?
That was a game-changer for me because I got to learn a lot from those amazing artists and deejays which made me gain a lot of confidence. I also learned that staying true to your own sound could go a long way.
What would you say was your greatest lesson learned from that collaboration?
If you ever feel like quitting, don’t because you never know who is watching.
What do you enjoy most about being an artist?
The freedom to express myself and be able to wear whatever I want haha.

Big things, there are great things to come.

To be heard and to be listened to.
